211 LA County is a non-profit organization operating one of the largest resource lines in the nation. Launched in 1981, it connects residents of Los Angeles County to comprehensive social services and disaster support. It coordinates health and human services for individuals and families, including shelters, meals, autism screening, veterans' services, substance abuse programs, health care, mental health services and access to jobs.
