(2) As of 2021, Pepperdine had 13 appearances in the NCAA Tournament without reaching a Final Four.
(3) Due to recruiting and financial violations involving players, the NCAA later sanctioned UCLA by declaring its second place finish in the 1980 NCAA Tournament forfeited. The team was also placed on probation for two years and barred from postseason play in 1982.

UCLA holds the record for the longest winning streak for any Division I college men's basketball team. UCLA won 88 games straight games from 1971 to 1974.


Counting 18, UCLA has the second highest number of NCAA Tournament Final Four appearances. It also holds the record for consecutive Final Four appearances, with ten appearances from 1967 to 1976.
