The Los Angeles Galaxy leads Major League Soccer with 10 appearances in the MLS Cup Final since 1996. The D.C. United follows with five appearances. With their last victory in the 2024 MLS Cup Final, L.A. Galaxy leads the league with six championships. D.C. United follows with four.


The Dignity Health Sports Park soccer stadium in Carson, California (previously named Home Depot Center and StubHub Center), has hosted the MLS Cup Final more times than any other MLS venue in the nation. Since 2003, it has hosted the Cup Final seven times (2003, 2004, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2024).
