"Pico and Sepulveda," composed by Eddie Maxwell and Jule Styne, was first released in 1943 and performed and recorded by Freddy Martin and his orchestra. Martin using the name “Felix Figueroa” when performing the song. In the early 1970s, the Dr. Demento radio show used the song as its opening theme. It was included in the1985 compilation Dr. Demento Presents: The Greatest Novelty Records of All Time.
